In 1997, Hasnat and Diana split up after dating for two years due to Hasnat's discomfort over the press's relentless pursuit of Diana. In July 1997, Diana dates Dodi Al Fayed, but their relationship ends tragically in a car accident a month later when they are both killed. The Queen - 2006

Unlike many movie about Princess Diana, "The Queen" does not portray the late princess as the primary subject but rather focuses on what happened after her death. Despite Queen Elizabeth's (Helen Mirren's) silence, Prime Minister Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) addresses the people and pays tribute to her. A majority of the film follows Blair's efforts to convince the Queen to support the public and pay tribute to such a beloved figure. Mirren won the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for her portrayal of the late Queen Elizabeth.
